Start-ups eye sheep milk market

The last couple of years have been a learning experience for four young people who have launched new businesses in unique markets – sheep milk and cheese made from that milk. Abe and Sam Enloe of Enloe Bros. Farms near Rewey, Wisconsin, and two “Annas” – Anna Landmark and Anna Thomas Bates – of Landmark Creamery in Albany, Wisconsin, are learning how to balance cash-flow management while growing a business. They spoke recently at the Dairy Sheep Association of North America Symposium in Madison.
